Spencer Lanthier

Prior to his retirement from KPMG Canada in 1999, Mr. Lanthier held the position of Chairman & Chief Executive Officer and was a member of the KPMG International Executive Committee and Board. In 1999, Mr. Lanthier was named to the Order of Canada, an Honour given by the Governor General of Canada.

 

Geoff Smith

Geoff has been involved in the construction industry for over twenty-five years, and began full-time with EllisDon in 1982. While studying and following two years of law practice after graduation, his career has otherwise been spent in various management positions at EllisDon, where he gained valuable hands-on experience in field operations, business development and corporate aff airs in preparation for his current responsibilities as President and Chief Executive Officer.

 

Gerald Slemko

Gerald comes from both an accounting and an entrepreneurial background. Gerald is currently President and CEO of Cuddy International Corporation, an international poultry company. He is also Managing Partner of Chelsey Corporation, an investment management company and is on the Board (and Chair of the Audit Committee) of Landmark Global Financial Corporation. Gerald began his career with Price Waterhouse Coopers, having obtained his CA with honours in 1977. Gerald also had a strong record of community involvement and is currently chair of the Capital Campaign for the Grand Theatre, London, Ontario.

 

 George Schott

With over twenty-five years of real estate experience in thecommercial sector, George is currently the President of Osmington Inc., a real estate development firm created in 1995 with approximately $350 million in assets. George also holds ownership in a property management company, a retirement home business and a self-storage company.

 

 Brendan Calder

Brendan Calder is Corporate Director and Professor at the Rotman
School of Management. Before that, he spent 30 years on Bay St. managing
financial services companies such as FirstLine Trust and CIBC Mortgages Inc.
Brendan is also a Board Member for FirstService Corporation, Coventree
Capital Inc. and the Toronto International Film Festival Group.
 

 Beatrix Dart

Dr. Dart is the architect of Rotman’s groundbreaking One-Year Executive MBA. Beatrix is the only Canadian elected to the influential, eight-member Board of the Executive MBA Council, an association representing EMBA programs worldwide. As Research Chair of this Council, Beatrix leads innovative research initiatives exploring worldwide trends and program design issues in executive and professional graduate business degree programs. Beatrix is also interested in the advancement of women in management.

 

Randy Findlay

Randy is a professional engineer and UBC graduate. He is the past president of Provident Energy Trust and remains a member of Provident’s Board. Randy has spent several decades in the Oil & Gas industry, in diff erent capacities including a term as a member of the executive team at TCPL. He is a Director of several publicly listed companies. He also has a record of extensive community involvement including Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, Canadian Mental Health Association and the Alberta Cancer Foundation.

 

Linda Hohol

Linda recently retired from a fi ve-year term as President of the TSX Venture Exchange in Calgary. Prior to that she spent 26 years with CIBC, including as Executive Vice President Wealth Management. She currently sits on the Board of ATB Financial, the Calgary Airport Authority, Export Development Canada, the Canadian Foundation for Innovation, and the United Way of Calgary.

 

Michael Smith

Michael joined EllisDon in 1980. He has served in a variety of field and office management positions building his experience in all facets of the business. He supervised over major area operations for EllisDon in the Eastern Ontario and Northwestern United States Regions; before moving back to Ontario in 1996 to take on his present role as EllisDon’s Vice President responsible for Business Development.
