Strathcona Community Hospital will be a 15,958 square meter hospital complex on a greenfield site that will include a 72-bed, full service community hospital with surgical suite and emergency room, an adjacent day clinic support building accommodating community health, public health, mental health, children's services, family medicine and other clinics and a freestanding 20-bed residential mental health facility (Child and Adolescent Services Association).
Project commenced in February 2008, with completion date expected to be Summer 2011.
