2011 event means millions in new facilities, upgrades, spinoffs

MORE THAN 3,600 athletes, coaches and officials and up to 10,000 visitors will pour into Nova Scotia in February 2011 to participate in or watch the Canada Winter Games.

It will be the largest, multi-sport event in Halifax’s history and the major competitive event in many of the young athletes’ lives. It will provide them with many lasting memories.
