EllisDon will be overseeing the fit out of portions of the 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th floors and the complete 5^th floor.  The work includes open laboratories, research and procedure rooms, a cold room, some offices, washrooms and storage areas. Selected laboratory equipment such as Glass Washer and Dryer, Fume Hoods, Autoclaves, Environmental Room and Ice Machines will be supplied, installed and commissioned.

This contract also encompasses the construction of a 1,000 square foot Level 3 Containment Laboratory. It consists of two procedure rooms, a shared instrument lab, shared change room with shower out facilities, a shared decontamination autoclave, and VHP pass box. The procedure rooms will have Class II Type B1 biological safety cabinets to store incidental use of solvents. The instrument lab will have a re-circulating, Class II, Type A2 biological safety cabinet. No liquid effluent decontamination will be required. Air handling equipment will be located in the basement and exhaust fans will be located on the roof top. Filter housings and valves shall be located such that they are replaceable from the room side.
