Eighth Avenue Place soon to be landmark

The speed at which crews from EllisDon have worked on the east tower of Eighth Avenue Place is impressive -- it was topped off with its fi-nal steel beam last Friday. So I was not surprised to learn that the first lessors of the 49-storey landmark between 8th and 9th Avenues at 4th Street S.W. will be able to start tenant improvements as early as next month.

Randy Fennessey, president/partner of Colliers International, and vice-president/partner Jim Rea are the exclusive agents for the owners of the complex -- AIMCo, SITQ and MATCO Investments -- which will provide one million square feet of commercial office space in the first tower.
