EllisDon builds loyalty with staff

In any line of work, cutting even the tiniest corner when it comes to worker safety is not an option. That rule is especially true when that work takes place several hundred feet up in the air.

“We are sending guys up 70 stories on engineered platforms,” says Michael Smith, vice president of business development at EllisDon Corporation, describing the windy, working conditions facing their employees currently re-cladding the sides of First Canadian Place.
