This past Thursday, at their head office in Mississauga, EllisDon hosted its 2nd annual Technology Forum, a showcase of the latest in Canadian sustainable and network technology, sponsored by Ontario Centres of Excellence. The room was packed from start to finish, as EllisDon people and guests got the opportunity to examine cutting edge-innovations as part of the company’s commitment to bringing technological innovation to the construction industry and EllisDon jobsites. “All companies need to become technology companies,” said Jody Becker, Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President Emerging Markets.

“The Technology Forum was conceived with the intention of showcasing new and innovative products to educate EllisDon staff on the newest products and integrated systems being developed,” said Scott Dawdy, National Business Development Manager at EllisDon. “This also compliments our Cradle to Grave strategy as we are not only developing new ways of constructing a building but having to continually maintain and improve those systems over the next 25-30 years.”
