The Story

A stunning addition to Calgary’s skyline, the 40-storey Eighth Avenue Place – West Tower offers 22,000 sq. ft. of Class AAA office space per floor with floor-to-ceiling windows. Connected to the East Tower via a three-storey lobby and Winter Garden, the West Tower is diagonally positioned and slopes in the opposite direction to maximize views for both buildings.

Built atop an operational podium and underground parkade, the tower features a Rocky Mountains-inspired curtain wall, crown and vertical lighting for a striking nighttime presence, and advanced mechanical and electrical systems, including energy-efficient T5 lamps and thermal energy monitoring. Unique elements include a permanently mounted crane and a snow/ice melting system.
