EllisDon Presenting at OGCA Annual Construction Symposium

EllisDon's BIM Services

EllisDon will be presenting at the Ontario General Contractors Association’s (OGCA) 6th Annual Construction Symposium, taking place from April 23-25, 2009 in Collingwood, Ontario.

Presenting at the Symposium will be Tom Strong, BIM Development Manager, and Frank McCarthy, Assistant Project Manager; both of whom worked on EllisDon’s groundbreaking Art Gallery of Ontario project, completed in November 2008.

Tom and Frank’s presentation, titled Transformation AGO will talk about the work that went into transforming one of Toronto’s oldest cultural institutions: delivering a complex architectural design by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry. EllisDon provided expertise from schematic design through project completion; and this presentation will provide insight into EllisDon’s project management strategy which, combined with the use of innovative technologies, delivered the Transformation AGO renovation on time and on budget.
