The Story

EllisDon developed and deployed an advanced digital twin solution for a leading Gas and Petrol Distributor, built to meet the stringent performance, security, and resilience benchmarks of the energy sector. Our team orchestrated the end-to-end system integration, bringing together BIM, OT/IT environments, SCADA, IoT networks, and enterprise data sources into a unified, real-time digital replica of the asset. AI analytics were embedded throughout the twin to unlock predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, operational optimization, and scalable data-driven decision-making. Complementing this, energy simulation capabilities were incorporated to analyze consumption behavior, benchmark efficiency, and surface decarbonization and cost-reduction opportunities in line with the client's sustainability agenda. The outcome is a robust, future-proof digital ecosystem that strengthens asset reliability, drives operational efficiency, and maximizes lifecycle value across the client's operations.
