The Story

For a landmark Saudi resort on the Red Sea Region, EllisDon designed and implemented an integrated digital twin spanning the management buildings and on-site power plants, treating the destination as one connected, intelligent asset. Through deep system integration, we unified BIM, BMS, SCADA, IoT networks, and operational data streams into a live, real-time replica of the resort's built environment and energy infrastructure. AI-driven analytics were layered across the twin to power predictive maintenance, performance optimization, and early anomaly detection for both facilities and power generation systems. In parallel, energy simulation models were embedded to forecast demand, fine-tune plant operations, and advance the resort's sustainability and net-zero targets. The result is a scalable, future-ready digital platform that protects guest experience, strengthens operational resilience, and maximizes lifecycle value across the entire destination.
