The Story
The Royal Columbian Hospital redevelopment is one of the largest government funded capital healthcare projects in British Columbia's history. A multi-year project, the redevelopment will occur in three phases which will transform almost every area of the hospital. Phasing the project allows the hospital to provide quality patient care and run smoothly while the site is under construction. Major changes will include the addition of an acute care tower, a new ER, medical imaging unit, rooftop helipad and updates to the existing Health Care Centre.
