Located in London, Ontario, the project transformed the facility with a new entrance, refreshed gaming areas, enhanced accessibility, new dining offerings, and an expansive outdoor patio. While guests now experience a modernized entertainment destination, achieving that transformation required careful planning and execution behind the scenes.

"The biggest challenge was delivering a major transformation while keeping the casino fully operational," said Danny Almeida, Project Manager. "Every phase of work had to be carefully planned to ensure guests could continue enjoying the facility safely while construction progressed around them. It required constant coordination, adaptability, and a team committed to finding solutions when challenges arose."

Maintaining operations influenced every aspect of the project. The work was completed through a carefully sequenced series of phases, allowing portions of the casino to remain open while construction progressed around them. Temporary gaming and seating areas were introduced as needed, and planned service transitions ensured building systems could be upgraded with minimal disruption.

As is often the case with large-scale renovations, the team also encountered existing conditions that differed from original documentation. Through close collaboration and proactive problem-solving, construction and infrastructure plans were adapted to address challenges while maintaining momentum.

Among the project's most significant additions is a new restaurant located near the main entrance. Designed to operate independently from the gaming floor, the space creates a destination that can be enjoyed by a broader range of visitors. Combined with improved sightlines, upgraded lighting, and a more welcoming arrival experience, the renovation has enhanced how guests engage with the facility.

While much of the complexity remained invisible to visitors, its impact can now be seen throughout the casino.
