EllisDon has acquired Hardline Engineering and Firefly Power & Energy, bringing two highly respected Canadian power infrastructure firms into the EllisDon group of companies and expanding its expertise across power engineering, electrical infrastructure, and construction.

This milestone strengthens EllisDon's capabilities across high- and medium-voltage power engineering, transmission and distribution systems, substation infrastructure, and utility construction, enhancing its ability to deliver integrated engineering and construction solutions for clients nationwide.

Hardline Engineering provides engineering and project delivery services across Interconnections & Systems Studies, transmission, distribution, substation, Streetlighting and URD, while Firefly Power & Energy specializes in high-voltage construction, operations, and maintenance services. Together, the companies bring integrated expertise across the power infrastructure lifecycle, supporting the delivery of complex energy infrastructure projects, electrical utility infrastructure, and critical power systems across Canada.
