On November 11, we pause together in solemn reflection. Remembrance Day is a moment to honour the courage of those who served, the lives lost in conflict, and the enduring legacy of peace they fought to protect.
Across generations, Canadians have stepped forward in times of need, driven by a sense of duty, community, and hope. Their sacrifices echo in the freedoms we enjoy today—in our workplaces, our homes, and our everyday lives. We remember not only the soldiers, but the families who waited, the communities that supported, and the values that endured.
This day invites us to reflect, but also to act. It calls us to carry forward the spirit of service in how we treat one another, how we build our communities, and how we show up for those who’ve borne the weight of war.
As we observe two minutes of silence, wear our poppies, and share stories of service, let us recommit to building a future worthy of their sacrifice.
Lest we forget.
