The Story
Built to support Canada’s federal shipbuilding program, this 400,000+ sq. ft. facility delivers a modernized shipyard capable of producing vessels for the Royal Canadian Navy. The main structure spans over half a kilometre and includes 8,000 metric tonnes of structural steel, with adjacent annex and marine structures supporting ship construction. Two new piers and marine loading areas transformed the site, all delivered on a fast-tracked schedule to meet national defense priorities.
