EllisDon has been named to the 2026 list of 5‑Star Safety Cultures by Canadian Occupational Safety (COS).

This recognition reflects how our teams operate every day, on sites and in offices, and in the decisions our teams make. It comes from a culture where people speak up, stay engaged, and take responsibility for protecting not only themselves, but those around them: physically, mentally, and emotionally.

At EllisDon, safety isn’t confined to a single team or function. It shows up in how we plan, manage, and deliver work across projects. That approach matters. It strengthens decision‑making, reduces risk, and supports more predictable outcomes , especially in complex, fast‑moving environments.

“At its core, safety is deeply personal,” said Steve Chaplin, Senior Vice President, Health, Safety & Environment, EllisDon. “It’s about families, futures, and moments that can never be taken back. The purpose isn’t just meeting targets, it’s about creating a culture of care and going home safe each night to their families.”

The COS 5‑Star designation is based on both a detailed organizational submission and direct employee feedback, reflecting not only the systems we have in place, but how safety is experienced day to day across our teams.

For our clients and partners, this recognition signals a disciplined, accountable approach to safety, one that is built into how we work and how we deliver.

It’s a standard we continue to carry forward on every project.
