The Story
EllisDon’s commitment to sustainability is one that can be seen through multiple projects, including the Aria Solar Park. Responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, the 80-acre solar park is a testament to EllisDon’s willingness to push the status quo, completing the project ahead of schedule by twenty days in 2015. Although faced with challenges, EllisDon rose to the occasion setting approximately 48,000 panels supported by 1350 racking structures and 5400 helical piles on a sloped and rocky site. Aria Solar Park has a nameplate capacity of 9 MW AC or 14.75 MW DC connecting to Hydro One's distribution grid at 44kV.
