The Story

Marking a bold step in Edmonton’s transit evolution, the Valley Line Southeast LRT project represents Phase 1 of Stage 1 of the broader 27-km Edmonton Valley Line LRT. This transformative infrastructure project includes 11 at-grade stops, the elevated Davies Station with a Park-and-Ride facility, a tunnel connecting downtown to the River Valley, and the Tawatinâ Bridge crossing the North Saskatchewan River. Supporting long-term functionality, the line includes a dedicated Operations and Maintenance Facility designed to ensure reliable performance over a 30-year period. This multi-staged LRT line will provide 25 new stops and three stations, serving an estimated 100,000 daily commuters.
