Hyperscale Data Center Program

The Story

EllisDon is constructing two hyperscale data centers for a confidential cloud and AI provider, located on separate sites in Southern Ontario. Each facility is designed to support 48 MW of critical load, with a combined full build-out capacity of 96 MW across both sites.

At full build-out, each facility will feature 143,800 sq. ft. of white space, 21 generators with a total capacity of 60.75 MW, and 15,700 tons of cooling capacity. Both projects are targeting LEED Gold Certification.

Delivery is phased at both sites. Site 1 includes a full fit-out of all five colocation spaces, supporting 48 MW of critical load “Day 1”. Site 2 is launching with two colocation spaces supporting 19.2 MW of critical load “Day 1”. The facilities are designed to achieve an annual average PUE of 1.15.

EllisDon has been contracted by the same customer to provide pre-construction services for a 3rd data center in the same region with a full build-out capacity of 56.2 MW.
