The Story

A leading global technology company has engaged EllisDon to provide pre-construction services for its first self-developed data center in Canada – the initial facility in a planned three-building campus that will ultimately deliver a critical load capacity of 240 MW. EllisDon is involved during the development phase to evaluate scopes of work for the initial Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contracts. The project also includes close collaboration with the client and their consulting team to deliver value engineering throughout the pre-construction phase of the first building, which will provide 80 MW of critical load at full build-out.
