London Poultry Processing Plant - Concrete and Formwork

The Story

EllisDon was instrumental in advancing the manufacturing technology and overall build of the London Poultry Processing Plant. Completed in 2021, the concrete and formwork project included foundation walls and column pads as well as special foundations for trucks washes, deep pits and odour stack bases for a new poultry processing plant. In addition, the scope of work included related reinforcing and excavation for the main plant as well as several outbuildings and site civil structures. The new facility replaced aging, small-scale legacy facilities, and improved the business cost structure ensuring that processing capacity meets consumer demand growth.
