MTO Highway 69 French River

The Story 

The 5119 French River project involved the construction of a 14-kilometre stretch of the new Highway 69 alignment (area of French River and Henvey Inlet First Nation), from north of Highway 607 to just north of Highway 522. Construction of 10 new bridges, 16 cast-in-place culverts and 13 precast ox culverts began in the summer of 2016. In partnership with Looby and the Ministry of Transportation, the project was a six year build that was completed June of 2022.
