The Story
The Musquodoboit Harbour Bridge project introduces a new 48-metre span supported by steel I-girders and a concrete deck, replacing the existing truss bridge. To maintain traffic flow between Halifax and Eastern Nova Scotia, a 61-metre temporary bailey bridge will be installed. The scope includes demolition, excavation, stormwater upgrades, and final landscaping, with safety enhancements like new railings and guide rails.
