The Story

Revitalizing a historic landmark, the Sir Frederick Haultain Building Renovations will modernize the Alberta Legislature facility through phased upgrades to its interior and exterior. Originally built in 1956, the building will undergo abatement, partial demolition, and a full interior fit-out across eight floors and two basement levels to create high-density government office space.

Upgrades include mechanical and electrical systems, new glazing, vestibule replacement, roof screen installation, and masonry restoration to preserve original decorative tiles. Waste management planning aligns with client directives, and the renovation will be delivered in three phases to ensure efficient execution and heritage preservation.
