The West Calgary Ring Road

The Story

Accelerating regional growth and connectivity in Alberta, the West Calgary Ring Road project provides over 100 km of free flow travel around the city, improving access to hospitals, schools, workplaces and recreation. With a focus on reducing congestion within the city, the project includes the design and development of the North Section of the Ring Road, featuring a new six and eight lane freeway, highway reconstruction, and the construction of 20 bridges and two interchanges.
