The Story
A bold architectural statement in the heart of campus, the Sheldon and Tracy Levy Student Learning Centre is a nine-storey, 156,000 sq. ft. facility designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and accessibility. Featuring a striking glass façade, elevated plaza, and a bridge connection to the existing library, the building integrates academic, social, and retail spaces.
Inside, students benefit from flexible learning centres, labs, and study areas, all supported by advanced mechanical and electrical systems. Sustainability is central to the design, with over 50% green roof coverage, stormwater reuse, low-flow fixtures, and energy-efficient systems that promote a healthier, low-impact environment.
