EllisDon Announces Finalists for the 2026 ConTech Accelerator

Every year, startups around the world develop technologies they believe can change the construction industry. The challenge is turning those ideas into solutions that work in real-world construction environments. That's where the EllisDon ConTech Accelerator comes in.

Now in its fourth year, the program connects innovative startups with EllisDon teams to explore technologies that could help address some of construction's biggest challenges and improve how projects are planned, built, and delivered.

Following 186 applications from around the world, six finalists have been selected to advance in this year's program.

Meet the 2026 ConTech Accelerator finalists:

1. TaksoAI – AI-powered mechanical estimating software that helps contractors, distributors, suppliers, and manufacturers streamline takeoffs.
2. Visibuild – A quality-focused project management platform created by former construction field staff to improve quality processes and systems.
3. Hardline – A voice-first operations platform that converts phone call data into actionable documentation, including task lists and reports.
4. Proxxi – Wearable technology that alerts field workers to low-voltage electrical hazards on site.
5. Pillarix – An AI-powered platform that automates change management to help project teams save time and money.
6. Cordax – An automated MEP design platform designed to shorten construction design cycles from months to days.

In the coming weeks, finalists will connect with EllisDon's Digital & Data Engineering, operational, and project teams to showcase their solutions and explore how their technology could help address challenges facing the construction industry.

The Accelerator is designed to foster collaboration between innovators and industry practitioners, helping promising technologies move beyond concept and toward real-world application.
