The Story

Revitalizing a key public space at the Alberta Legislature Grounds, the Edmonton Government Centre – North Plaza Upgrades project involves the full demolition and reconstruction of the original 1970s-era plaza. The scope includes a new reflecting pool, dome fountain, amphitheatre, and integrated landscaping designed for year-round vibrancy and barrier-free access. Upgrades also feature sustainable mechanical and electrical systems, new lighting, and stormwater integration.
