Oakville Trafalgar Hospital Solar Array

The Story

A bold step toward sustainable healthcare infrastructure, the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital – Solar Array project introduced a 500 kWac rooftop solar system atop the hospital’s parking garage. With a DC capacity of 600 kWdc, the system features 2,000 solar panels mounted on a custom steel frame anchored to level 6 of the structure.

The energy generated feeds directly into the local grid managed by Oakville Hydro, supporting Ontario’s renewable energy goals under the FIT 2.1 program.
