The Story
The Centre for Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship at Seneca’s Newnham Campus is a dynamic four-storey, 171,300 square foot facility designed to foster collaboration and creativity. Built on the site of the former Building L, the project features a pedestrian-friendly arrivals plaza connecting Finch Avenue’s bus drop-off to the building’s main entrance, along with outdoor seating, gathering spaces, and a striking “Seneca” sculpture. Emphasizing sustainability, the facility incorporates recycled materials, low-flow plumbing to reduce water consumption, solar energy panels, and eco-friendly housekeeping and pest-management practices. Surrounded by pathways and green landscaping, the Centre reflects Seneca’s commitment to innovation, environmental stewardship, and community engagement.
