The Story

Expanding rapid transit across York Region, the vivaNext H2 East and West project delivered over 14 km of dedicated bus lanes, 10 stations, and 18 platforms along Highway 7. In partnership with Coco Paving, the team also completed bridge widenings, culvert extensions, and streetscape upgrades to enhance accessibility and active transportation. Notably, this was the first project in Canada to integrate a multi-use path within a highway corridor—supporting safe, inclusive mobility for pedestrians and cyclists.
