The Story

PME Inc. is working with the City of Fort Saskatchewan to complete upgrades to the 2018 Neighbourhood Rehabilitation project. The work is comprised of the removal and replacement of the existing mainline services and service leads for the sanitary sewer, storm, potable water and fire hydrants along 101 Street in Fort Saskatchewan from 99 Ave to North of 101 Ave. The scope of work includes but is not limited to:

PME Scope

- Responsible for traffic accommodation plan and implementation.
- Demolition asphalt and concrete sidewalks, excavation removal of
concrete pipe, manholes, catch basins, removal of steel pipe, asbestos concrete pipe and removal of PVC pipe.
- Replace/install all new materials for concrete, HDPE, and PVC pipe manholes and catch basins as required through Horizontal Direction Drilling, open excavation or otherwise
- Reinstate the asphalt pavement and concrete sidewalks after backfill including all road markings and signs
- Reinstate or supply and install all landscape features, seed sod, tree planting, benches, guardrail, etc.
- Restoration (roadways, curb and gutter, sidewalks, trails, turf, etc.)
- Extensive utility locating, relocations if required, and protections of existing utilities.
