The project involved the construction of a teaching and research facility with space for:

• a business incubator
• teaching and office space
• allows for research in human health, plant genetics, and green chemistry, and; 
• includes biosafety containment labs providing CL2 (5,000 sq. ft.) and CL3 (1,000 sq. ft.)

The four-storey structure has a basement, an underground tunnel and two bridges from the second storey for pedestrian connection to adjacent buildings and achieved LEED Silver Certification.
