This 10MW AC solar project was constructed in just 3.5 months from breaking ground to grid connection. There were approximately 46,500 panels installed on this project supported by 1288 racking structures and 5152 helical piles. This project was located adjacent to the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority's protected wetlands which made storm water runoff and erosion control a high priority and presented permitting challenges that EllisDon was able to navigate through while maintaining schedule.
EllisDon was responsible for engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the project.
