The new City of Fort Saskatchewan Municipal Building creates the much needed replacement of the existing RCMP detachment building in response to the growing demand in the region.
At 34,000 square feet, this facility contains a 7-cell detention component, public support areas, administration and clerical offices, police function areas, building services and staff areas, and multi-purpose/community room. In addition, provisions were made for the future expansion over the next 20 years.
