The Story
Irving Oil Home Office will be an 11-storey office building on the corner of King Square South and Sydney Street, in historic uptown Saint John, New Brunswick. Designed by B + H Architects, the building will be strongly classical in appearance to complement the surrounding landscape and buildings, while utilizing all the benefits of modern building design.
Connection to the outdoors is a main element of the project, featuring a roof skylight on the 11th floor, to flood the space with natural light, and an outdoor terrace on the 5th floor, featuring reflective precast pavers and glass guardrails, allowing direct outdoor access for employees. The building is targeting LEED certification.
