The ten-storey, 325,000 sq. ft. research and rehabilitation facility was built using an Integrated Project Delivery approach and included base building core and shell, interior fit-up of two floors of wet labs, vivarium and associated technical support floors, and other clinical / research floors. The project included sequential completion and turnover of floors.

The facility features 20,000 sq. ft. of BSL2 space, 2,000 sq. ft. of BSL3 space, and 30,000 sq. ft. of vivarium space.
