The Story
Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) is creating a new chapter in downtown Sydney with the construction of its modern waterfront campus. This exciting development includes a walkway over the Esplanade, leading to innovative learning environments and communal areas.
Consisting of four buildings, the campus will serve as an educational hub for approximately 1150 students and employees. With the completion of this project, NSCC's Marconi Campus will make a significant move from Grand Lake to this vibrant downtown location.
This new facility is designed to foster innovative programming within multifunctional spaces, enhancing student collaboration and interaction. This move is not just about a change of scenery; it's set to invigorate Sydney's downtown area and support NSCC's goal to help build Nova Scotia’s economy and quality of life through education and innovation
