The Story

The King Campus expansion project is the first phase of the King Campus Master Plan, which includes two new facilities to help expand current program offerings, create new opportunities for education through partnerships, and enhance the quality of the student learning and campus life experience.

The project was to respond to Seneca College’s need to increase its range of programs that are offered and to provide space for 1,450 students. This project is the largest revitalization project in Seneca College’s history. The new campus sits within the Ontario Greenbelt system and the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Area and embaces the natural setting and cultural heritage. A priority for the new campus is showing sustainability in all aspects of the campus development, and creating an atmosphere of community and inclusiveness that exists already in Seneca.
