EllisDon was awarded the Guaranteed Maximum Price contract by Cadillac Fairview Corporation Ltd. for The Shops at Don Mills in Toronto.

This project is a mixed-use development, ultimately providing living, work and retail space. The redevelopment of The Shops at Don Mills will create an enhanced retail environment consisting of approximately 500,000 square feet of building space integrated within a new residential neighbourhood. A new, central open concept town square will be created in the centre of the complex. Retail and other commercial space will surround the town square’s entrance points. Upon completion, a new network of streets will improve pedestrian and vehicular connections to the Centre. Surface parking lots and some on-street spaces will accommodate visitor parking needs.

The purpose for the redevelopment is to provide an integrated residential and retail environment with community amenities. The master plan incorporates a number of amenities, including a fitness centre that will be accessible to the public.
