The Story

The Terminal 1 Domestic Node E Redevelopment project (“Node E”) was redeveloped in five phases of work to enhance the retail and food and beverage experience as well as passenger flow. Node E was redesigned while paying close attention to day to day operations of the Airport with minimal impact to passenger flow:

Features

• The existing retail and food and beverage units were demolished to create new base building units with utilities
to the lease line of each space. Tenants fit-up units upon handover
• New standalone food and beverage kiosk was created in the passenger corridor
• The existing Gate D20 Lounge flooring was replaced with rolled carpet.
• The existing back of house office spaces were demolished to create a new passenger lounge, called the Plaza Lounge
• A new Digital Media Wall was integrated digital screens/walls
• New enhanced finishes throughout the Concourse Ceiling and Granite Floor.
• A new open passenger experience area with provisions to integrate commercial kiosks was also created
