The Trillium Health Partners – Long-Term Care Facilities project involves the construction of two new long-term care homes on Speakman Drive in Mississauga, Ontario. These new 320-bed and 312-bed homes will meet the latest standards of long-term care design, and will feature: private or semi-private bedrooms; lounge areas; dining rooms; terraces; and 100% fresh air supply capability with an enhanced HVAC.

EllisDon Modular Inc. will be deployed to ensure completion of the project within the proposed schedule. Modular technologies offer speed, repeatability and cost-certainty, with fewer deficiencies, and promote safer, less-congested job sites.

These completed projects will alleviate stresses on Ontario’s healthcare and long-term care systems, while providing a modern, comfortable, safe place for seniors to call home.

This project is part of the Accelerated Build Pilot Program, which aims to deliver new long-term care homes years sooner than a traditional development project. This is made possible through the use of hospital-owned lands, rapid procurement, and modular construction.
