The Story

The Schwartz Reisman Innovation Centre (“SRIC”) project involves the construction of a new 13-storey concrete structure including two mechanical rooms on level 14 and 15. The exterior mainly consists of curtainwall, precast and metal panels. The building is designed to be a multidisciplinary and collaborative space to facilitate research-based innovation by fostering entrepreneurship and enhancing the University of Toronto’s industry partnerships. All occupants of the SRIC will be focused on the development of new technologies, products and processes that will enhance industry innovation and increase employment.
