This past weekend, Nicholas Gefucia, Senior Vice President of EllisDon Community Builders, recently spoke at the 2024 Affordable Housing Summit at the University of Toronto, Scarborough (UTSC).The event brought together attendees to explore affordable housing options, the supply chain, and modular off-site construction.

With his extensive experience as a project development professional and former Project Director with EllisDon, Nicholas was the ideal representative for EllisDon to speak about the pressing need to consider different delivery models to achieve the scale of building our supply gap demands.

Joined by 50 other guest speakers to address innovative solution to the housing challenges, he elaborated on solving Canada's housing crisis and that it requires more than just a singular design or construction solution. He referenced thoughts on it requiring considering different delivery models to achieve the scale of building our supply gap demands.
