EllisDon’s Jim Walker Elected to Integrated Project Delivery Alliance (IPDA) Board of Directors

Jim Walker, Operations Manager for EllisDon Montreal, has been elected to the Integrated Project Delivery Alliance (IPDA) Board of Directors.

With a remarkable career spanning over two decades in the construction industry, Jim has amassed a wealth of knowledge and demonstrated his ability to lead and manage project teams effectively, even in the most challenging environments and under tight deadlines. His expertise has been honed through his involvement in complex projects, including the Royal Canadian Dragoons and West Block Rehabilitation, where he excelled in planning, prioritizing, organizing, and managing multiple project teams to meet specific demands and deadlines

Jim's profound understanding of various construction delivery methods is a testament to his comprehensive experience. This includes Integrated Project Delivery, Design-Build-Finance-Maintain, Construction Management, Lump Sum, and Public-Private-Partnership projects. His versatility and adaptability have been key to success in a wide array of project types.

The IPDA is a collective of forward-thinking organizations dedicated to advancing Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) as a prominent construction delivery method within Canada. Members of IPDA wholeheartedly support one another in their mission to identify, implement, and advocate for best practices that foster collaborative and efficient construction processes.

This approach is aimed at "building better together."

Membership in the IPDA is exclusively extended to organizations deeply committed to embracing IPD as a delivery method, utilizing a polypart contract structure with painshare/gainshare agreements among major contractors, key designers, and project owners.
