EllisDon recently participated in the ParaTough Cups 2023, a fundraiser for the Paralympic Foundation of Canada. It was an incredible event where our 14 participants from across three EllisDon departments IST, DDE, and Capital faced off against 12 other organizations from across Canada in Para sports such as Wheelchair Basketball, Sitting Volleyball, and Para Ice Hockey.

Our teams gave it their all and we couldn't be prouder of their efforts. However, it was the Para Athletes who truly shined. Their passion, dedication, and exceptional talent were incredibly inspiring and reminded us that anything is possible with determination and hard work.

As an official supplier to the Canadian Paralympic Committee, we remain committed to supporting the foundation with an annual fundraising goal of $25,000. We were pleased to contribute $10,000 from our participation in the ParaTough Cups towards the Paralympic Foundation's three main program areas, which include Parasport Development, Next Generation Programming, and High Performance.

We're thrilled to continue our partnership with the Canadian Paralympic Committee and look forward to supporting our athletes as they prepare for the Santiago Parapan Am 2023 and Paris 2024. The ED IST team is dedicated to providing our athletes with everything they need to succeed and bring home the gold for Canada.
