National Day of Mourning is internationally recognized as a day to honour and reflect on the lives impacted, both directly and indirectly, by a workplace-related incident.

EllisDon, and other organizations across the country, have elected to observe today (April 26th) to ensure we are all able to collectively take a moment to honour those who have suffered a workplace injury, fatality, or occupational illness.

At EllisDon we expect all our employees to feel empowered and take a stand for safety for themselves and those around them. Collectively we all have the responsibility to keep our working areas safe, whether that’s at a worksite or in an office.
