Nicole Connolly makes Crane & Hoist Canada’s Top 10 Under 40

Nicole Connolly, Director of Operations, Oxford Builders Supplies, named to Crane & Hoist Canada’s Top 10 Under 40 list.

Crane & Hoist Canada’s annual Top 10 Under 40 list recognizes young leaders in the heavy lifting industry who are setting the bar for others with their strong work ethic, initiative, curiosity and commitment to training and safety. Whether they work in leadership operations, maintenance, sales or support, these crane and hoist employees are highly regarded by their colleagues, clients and peers.

Nicole started with EllisDon in our equipment division, Oxford Builders Supplies, in London, ON, in 2008. She is currently responsible for all hoist operations in Toronto, including booking hoist installations, extensions and dismantles and simultaneously facilitates all logistics and trucking both internally and externally. She has first-handedly retained Oxford’s 24-hour hoist service line and acts as the first point of contact for any potential on-site issues. Nicole is also responsible for dispatching and communicating with the workforce daily, working with engineering and Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA), communicating all progress with Oxford’s clients and ensuring that all of Oxford’s equipment is safely serviced and maintained both in the shop and on-site.

“Nicole is an exceptional professional, leader, and colleague. Her knowledge, vision, and dedication to the overall company extend beyond her day-to-day activities,” says Mike Demelo, Senior Vice President, Oxford Builders Supplies. “She is committed to her team's personal and professional development, intentionally leading a collaborative approach to how the teams communicate and work together, which achieves the client's goals flawlessly. Her application of the company's values shines through her approachability and readiness to assist colleagues in and outside her work scope.”

Nicole’s contributions have been instrumental to the growth of Toronto area operations and advanced the construction achievements.
