EllisDon Announces Appointment of Jennifer Khan to Head of Inclusive Diversity

Mississauga, ON, June 29, 2020— EllisDon announced the appointment of Jennifer Khan to the role of Head of Inclusive Diversity as part of the People and Culture team.“I am proud to be part of the ongoing education, awareness and real conversations on Inclusive Diversity at EllisDon,” said Jennifer Khan, Head of Inclusive Diversity, People & Culture. “As a working mother of two boys, a visible minority with immigrant parents, who’s married to a Canadian Muslim, diversity is part of my everyday life and I hope to continue to provide a safe space for all employees to feel seen and heard.”Khan has worked at EllisDon for nearly a decade in the People and Culture division at EllisDon. She started as a Learning and Development Specialist, moving her way up to her most recent role as Director of Talent Management. In 2019, she was named Co-Chair of Diversity and Inclusion at EllisDon and has worked on initiatives like EllisDon’s partnership with Build A Dream, a non‐profit dedicated to attract, encourage and recruit female students to pursue careers in skilled trades and STEM."Jen has been a trailblazer in leading an inclusive and diverse environment at EllisDon and on our team,” said Paul Trudel, Senior Vice President, People & Culture at EllisDon.
